30,000 ft. - August 2020

In my freshman year of college I started a playlist called “30,000 ft.”. It started with my favorite songs, but soon grew to become a living timeline of my music over many years. The playlist recently crossed 800 songs and picked up a few followers along the way.

I love listening to new music and rarely make it farther back beyond a year into the playlist, so I wanted to do a monthly roundup of the songs that made the cut, and any other albums I’ve been bumpin’.

  Great production, love his flow on this especially around the drop.

• Amine - Pressure In My Palms

  Vince verse was awesome, slowthai feature was a tease. Definitely recommend the whole album.

  Chill lazy summer vibes, another album worth checking out.

• Mereba - Black Truck

  My girlfriend showed me this one, can’t take credit.

• Nas - Car #85

  Laid back track. This was easily my favorite album of August, probably the summer.

• Nas - Ultra Black

• Vic Mensa - 2HONEST

  SAINt JHN kills it as always, solid album by Vince.

• Octavian - Chapter 1

  Sort of a new discovery for me, this 2 song album slaps.

• ABRA - PULL UP

  Credit to my girlfriend on this one too, another album full of hidden slappers.
